About
A Little About Me
I’ve been creating since the time I was able to hold a crayon and a scissors. Growing up in a sewing family, my grandmother was an amazing seamstress, my mother as well, but I didn’t like sewing. My latent sewing gene didn’t emerge until I tried quilting about 18 years ago. I’ve loved it ever since. I still enjoy art and other creative fun, but quilting is what I love best.
My quilting leans more toward the traditional; however, I am enjoying the modern quilt vibes and hoping to try some of my own. I also find that I am very drawn to improv quilts, and find that playing with improv is something I thoroughly enjoy. Honestly, I like to try different things as I quilt. It expands my horizon and satisfies my curiosity. I like to be challenged when I quilt.
So join me as I share a little of what I am up to each week. Hope you enjoy peeking into my quilting life!

I wonder if I will take up quilting, as I always thought I would, “when I get older”! Now that I am:)

I’m glad to hear you’re having a go at it. I find it very relaxing, most of the time 🙂
