Eva’s SAHRR Center Block
Today I’m happy to show you Eva’s SAHRR Center Block. Eva and I met through my blog. She lives in another country, and we’ve never met face to face (yet!). We keep in touch by email, and have many things in common. This is her third year participating in the Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) sew along. I have offered to post her progress on my blog, since she does not have a blog of her own. I’m so excited she is sewing along with us this year.
Once again, Eva has come up with a creative center block. You. can see her SAHRR quilts from the past two years here and here. Here is her block for the SAHRR 2025.
Eva says she had some fun mixing cotton prints with batiks to get the color of the center block that she wanted. She likes the traditional churn dash block where the corner blocks are all the same and it is not a directional block, so it’s easier for her to work with and add the borders. For 2025, she wanted to mix improv and modern quilting with a traditional block. I think she’s got a good thing going on, don’t you? I can’t wait to see the borders she adds each week!
I’ll be linking up this post with Quilting Gail. Make sure you remember to link up your blocks with Gail this week, too, so we can all see your center block!

This is a lovely block. I really like the colours and I’m looking forward to seeing this grow 🙂
[Also, to Eva, last tear you messaged me through the contact form on my blog but there was something wrong with the email address you used so my reply kept bouncing back. If you want to message me again, I’d love to hear from you but please check your email so I can reply, Janine from Rainbow Hare]
