Falling For You 2 Tablerunner
You know that Falling For You Tablerunner I posted on Friday? Well, I made another one, and I’m calling it Falling For You 2. Would you like to see it?
This is the best photo of the main fabric. It’s a print called Nordic Vision by Gudrun Erla for Red Rooster Fabrics. I found it this weekend while checking out a new quilt shop. I love this fabric, but it’s difficult to photograph.
Here’s the full view of the Falling For You 2 Tablerunner.
The leaf background is a neutral fabric that was in my stash. The leaves were mostly from my stash as well, with the exception of the light green leaf. I found that fabric this weekend too.
I tried a new stitch on my sewing machine for the quilting, a preset wavy line. It makes for fast quilting, but I’m not sure I really like it. I’ll try it on a few other projects before I decide. I did a simple outline stitch around the leaves.
That blue leaf is actually grey. The grey fabric apparently has some definite blue undertones.
One last photo, with my timid little geranium.
To give you an idea of how quickly this runner goes together, I started sewing this around 2:30 Sunday afternoon and finished it by dinnertime.
Vicki has this pattern available in her Craftsy shop. You can see her versions here, and the version I posted on Friday here.
Happy Monday, everyone!

I love it Wendy! I did think that leaf was blue and also the ones in the printed fabric, some fabrics are just stinkers to photograph. Now I need to make some in prints too:)

Really is a lovely pattern and great fabric choices. It looks like the quilting stitch you used is a large serpentine. On a borrowed machine I’ve used it on a charity baby quilt as it certainly was quick and suitable for the purpose.

Oh, it’s very pretty. I saw this somewhere else, but I like your fabric choices better.

Hi Wendy! Good thing you took a close up of that background fabric. I never in a million years would have thought it had leaves on it! It looks kind of like a polka dot . . . This really turned out great, and how nice that it’s so quick to make. Happy Monday! ~smile~ Roseanne

Ohhh.. I like this one too! I had to go back and look at the first one you made – they each have a very different feel to them. So pretty Wendy!
