Flashback Friday Fun
I’ve been having fun this week, working on the baby quilts and getting ready for my Monday post for the New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop. I hope you visit my blog on Monday and get to know a little more about me. I don’t have any progress photos to show you, so let’s take a look at a fun Flashback Friday photo.
One day back in 2015, I pulled out my scrap bins and just started to sew. I had no plan, just a little bit of an idea in my head. Here’s what I came up with.
I remember that it was really fun. I should maybe pull this out and add a little more to it. What do you think?
Next week I get to do my blog hop post, and I get to spend some time with a quilty friend at a mini quilt retreat. Jealous?
What are you plans for the weekend? I hope it includes some sewing time!
See you Monday!

Very creative you are! The only improv I can do is crumb blocks.

It’s a bit of a creative mess, but I like it 🙂

What a fun quilt! Love the little owls in the tree. Its perfect as it is, Wendy, but do what sounds fun! I haven’t quilted much since my blog entry and had lots of work/appointments. Gotta get back to it this weekend I take a quilting class, so that should push me a bit!

Have fun at your class! That sounds like a great weekend!

It’s very cute! I’d probably just put a binding on it and call it good.

I think do nothing except bind it – it’s a lovely little quilt.
I’m planning on doing more to my tumbling blocks and carrying on dyeing.
I’ll definitely drop by on Monday

Great improv. It’s something I just can’t get my head around. Just the thought brings my out in a cold sweat

Very cute improve. You are a natural at it. This one reminds me of fall. You could improve three more quilts representing the other seasons and sew them together for a nice wall hanging or table runner. The possibilities are endless. And that’s where I get hung up…making decisions on how to progress forward with a project.
