Frosty Tuesday
I had to have a little fun with this Frosty Tuesday post. While many of us are experiencing hot, humid weather, I thought it might be fun to show a winter photo from last year.
Actually, I wanted a frosty photo to set the stage to show you my version of Welcome Frosty, the newest pattern release from Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting.
I was delighted to test this pattern for Vicki. Her patterns are so well done, and this one is no exception. This little snowman goes together so quickly, it is a perfect pattern to pick up right now and get some of those Christmas gifts crossed off your list early!
Honestly, the most difficult part of this pattern for me was finding two black buttons that matched.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have one finished and ready to hang on your door when the winter season comes? You can pick up a copy of Vicki’s pattern in her Etsy shop – the link is in Vicki’s post here. Plus, Vicki is celebrating Frosty’s release with 20% off all of her patterns now through Saturday.
Hope you like my version of Welcome Frosty, and I hope you pop over, say hello to Vicki and pick up a pattern or two.

Your Frosty is adorable, Wendy! I like your blue background – it’s really perfect for him. I went and bought Vicki’s pattern yesterday, so it’s fun to see your version today!

Frosty is very cute!!! And I really like the colours you chose! It must feel great to have it done and ready for when the frost actually does come! 🙂

He’d have been cute even if his eye buttons didn’t match.
Buttons are like socks… 50 in the drawer and finding partners is a trick sometimes.

Thanks for making me smile — at the delightful snowman with the big nose and at your quip about finding two black buttons that match. I know what you mean!
BTW two weeks agao we had snow at Hogsback (the mountains nearby where we spend quite a lot of time). This quite a rare occurrence and so is very exciting for us.

Wendy your Frosty is just too cute! I love the pretty blue background. It does remind so much of the bright, blue skies we should be able to see again when the snow is falling. Can’t come too soon for me. 😉

I love your version! You think you’ll hang it on your door? Thanks for the frosty photo. 🙂

Oh Wendy, if you had used just one button and a few straight stitches for the second eye then it would appear like Mr. Frosty was winking at me 😀 I’d like that. Vicki has great patterns. Of course you had fun testing it for her.
