More SAHRR Quilts
I have three more SAHRR quilts to show you today. Kathleen, Kay, and Eva have been busy working on their Stay at Home Round Robin quilts, so let’s see their progress.
Kathleen’s Quilt
Kathleen is using Hawaiian fabric brought back from a trip lto Hawaii ast fall, and her background fabric is Grunge in white or cream. Her first border is an adapted version of the King’s Corner block. For her second border, she placed HSTs above the first border. Kathleen is hoping to finish this quilt as a banner.
Kay’s Quilt
Kay is sewing along with us this year for the first time, I believe. She is catching up with us, so this photo shows her center block and first border.
Isn’t that bright, spring green lovely along with the plaid orange and corner blocks? She is working on the second border and hopes to have that ready to show us soon.
Eva’s Progress
Eva has been on a creative roll this week. She pulled out a collaborative book by Freddy Moran and Gwen Marston and used some ideas from that book for inspiration for her second border and some HST play.
Her HSTs show up in various ways throughout her border – houses, trees, filler spaces, and chickens!
Eva said she might have to make a future quilt of just the trees. She also said the houses were her favorite, but weren’t as easy to piece as she thought they’d be. As to the chickens, well, she loved them and they just had to make an appearance in the quilt. They are too cute, aren’t they?
It’s been fun to write about three more SAHRR quilts. I think all three are making amazing progress on their quilts, don’t you? I’ll be linking up this post at Anja Quilts.
Happy stitching all! See you tomorrow for the reveal of Border 3!!

Kay
Enjoy seeing what others are creating with their SAHRR. Thanks again for posting mine. Gotta say I love the chickens. Looking forward to tomorrow’s prompt.
Eva
Hawaiian fabric sounds fantastic and it will bring back holiday feelings. Another churn dash from Kay is funny to see. Great that the the group of participants is growing a little bit.
Thank you Wendy for the service and kindness to post. It will be exciting to see the task of the next border and many thanks in advance to all who may comment here. Happy Sunday!

Oh these are all so creative. I am impressed at how straight the plaid borders are. I have used plaids a couple of times and often struggle to keep them lined up. Love the sentiment of the Hawaiian quilt. Eva – those chickens are the best! So darn cute.
