Progress Report Monday
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I had a quiet one here at home, since we had celebrated Mother’s Day earlier. Progress continues in the quilt cave, so let me show you what’s happening.
Progress? – New Project
On impulse, I worked on a graduation gift that I decided I just needed to make. It is paper pieced with some teensy pieces and it required quite a bit of concentration. The frog chorus sang a lively rendition of “rip it, rip it” a few times and there was some gnashing of teeth, but it’s done. I’ll show you pictures of the project once it’s gifted.
Progress – Baby Quilt #2
The block pieces for baby quilt #2 are all lined up and ready for assembly.
I was going to finish up for the day at that point, but I couldn’t resist putting just a few on the design wall. I’m making the mini periwinkle quilt from Missouri Star Quilt Company. It goes together so quickly!
This little quilt is going to be so pretty, with all of the soft colors playing together. This will be my main project for the week.
Progress – Commission Quilt
I expect to get the commission quilt back today, so I will get the binding for that and finish it up. I’m excited to see it! I promise I’ll take pictures and post them once I’ve handed it off to its new owner.
I can’t wait to get started on my quilting today. This week has some rain in the forecast, so it sounds like some days will be just perfect for staying in and stitching away.
I hope you have a good day of sewing today! I’ll see you on Wednesday with another update on my progress!
Linking up today with Beth at Cooking Up Quilts.

You are really going to town girl!! Very little sewing for me this weekend. And who knows what I will get done this week. The munchkin is here today, Wed. and Thursday. I have a customer quilt and my IB project I have to get done this week.

I really like the pattern for the baby quilt. Every time I see your progress pics I tell myself I need that pattern, cause we all know quilters *need* just one more project, right? 🙂 I’m glad you had a quiet weekend, and hope you get lots of sewing time in this week. We have sunshine and high temps in the forecast all week – I’m looking forward to it!

That’s a lot of work. The periwinkles are so pretty and the photo of the triangles looks like art – loved it!
Enjoy the week.

You have been working hard. The baby quilt is lovely, such pretty colours. We had Mothers Day in March, I haven’t a clue why there is such a difference.
