To Do Tuesday #12
It’s past 11 pm as I’m writing this To Do Tuesday #12 post. I’ve been sitting here happily stitching away on a binding, watching a show, when I realized I hadn’t written this post yet! I want to join in with Roseanne and Sue of Home Sewn By Us for this fun linky party. Have you joined in? You can find all the details on their blog.
I made good progress this week, let’s see what was on my list.
- Quilt the improv project – Done!
- Bind Mt. Hood – Done!
- Sew borders on Minnesota Mystery Quilt – Done!
- Finish improv triangles – not done, but some progress
That’s a little sneak peek at Mt. Hood with the lovely quilting by Connie of Turnberry Lane Quilting. She quilted two more quilts for me recently, and I’m pretty excited to have more UFOs almost done!
This coming week, my tasks are:
- Bind my oldest UFO (it’s vintage!!)
- Bind Juggling Act quilt
- Work on challenge quilt due May 1st
- Finish improv triangles
- April Churn Dash blocks
- April Color Challenge Block
You read that right, I’m finally — finally — finishing my oldest UFO. I’ll tell you just how old when I write the post, so you’ll have to stay tuned.
And yes, I have a challenge quilt for The Endeavourers group that is due May 1st. Our challenge is “scene from a book”. I think I have a plan, and now I need to get going and see if I can get it done!
So that’s my list for this week. That should keep me out of trouble!
What about you? What is distracting you in your quilt room lately? I alway enjoy hearing about your projects and finding inspiration. Meanwhile, be sure to hop over to Home Sewn by Us and see what others are up to this week!

i don’t do well with a list – I’m often surprised at how many people do well with one! I will make a list and end up tossing it and starting another and another with very little crossed off.
Quilting is in my Blood
I’m looking forward to the Mt. Hood reveal and finding out about your oldest UFO. Looks like you have plenty to keep you busy. Have a good day, Mary.

You have quite a few things on the list for this week, but with time on our hands you will manage it just fine! I think I will go work on one of my own list items today.

Hi Wendy! There you are, writing at 11pm and I forgot to post the message. I’m sorry! That is quite an impressive list you got done this week. And an even more impressive list for this week! I’m looking forward to seeing that oldest UFO in the d.o.n.e. column. Thanks for linking up this week. ~smile~ Roseanne

I’m pretty good at not having many UFO’s but I have had that ONE old UFO in my closet (because it’s hand quilting–which I like, I just don’t make time for it!). It’s going on about 15 years now. SIGH. Nice finishes!

I’m still working at finishing my oldest UFO too. I wonder which of us has the oldest one. The quilting is very pretty.

Wow, Wendy, you get an A+ for this week!!! I love Connie’s quilting on your Mt. Hood! I’m working on my 5th Meadowland quilt–quilted it yesterday, binding today. Although it will take a couple days to bind by hand…

Looks like you’re getting a lot done! I’m working on 2 UFOs, and one is more than a decade old. The other is not as old but keeps getting put off and I’m really glad to be making progress on it.

Two Thumbs up with all you’ve accomplished!!
