To Do Tuesday #25
Happy Tuesday, everone! I’m here with my To Do Tuesday #25 post, joining up with Roseanne and Sue over at Home Sewn by Us. I do enjoy reading everyone’s progress each week. It inspires me to keep moving forward, even if the week’s list doesn’t get finished!
Let’s take a look at my list from last week:
- Get Blog Hop quilt quilted and bound
- Piece together my mini plus blocks – yippee!
- Churn Dash blocks for July
- Deli Geese blocks for July
I haven’t made any progress on the blog hop quilt, but there isn’t much left to do, so I’ll get it done in time.
My mini plus blocks are being pieced into a top. Two rows are done so far. Once I have the challenge and blog hop behind me, I’ll focus on getting the top pieced.
As you saw in yesterday’s post, I have my three churn dash blocks done for July. I haven’t done the Deli Geese blocks for July yet. They may not get done this month, but we’ll see.
In between those projects, I snuck in a few others. I made a project bag and a casserole hot pad. The rest of my time was spent working on the challenge quilts and pondering how to quilt the blog hop quilt. I’m finally excited about the challenge quilts – yes, plural – I’ve decided to make a second one. I’m excited about this one.
This week, I’m going to keep my list light.
- Blog Hop quilt finished
- Challenge quilts finished
- Bind baby quilt
And that’s my To Do Tuesday #25 post. If I finish them, I can always sneak some other projects in. I certainly have plenty waiting to be done! Thanks for reading! What is on your list for the week?

face masks are on my list this week and maybe just a general slow down this week – July’s heat is tiring me out I think!

Such a pretty churn dash block! And I’m definitely curious about your challenge quilts and blog hop quilt. Have a great day, Mary.

I’m looking forward to the blog hop next week, but I’d better get my project finished! 🙂 Glad you found what you wanted to do for your challenge project(s). I’ll enjoy seeing what you did for those!

I can’t keep up – lol! I like that Churn Dash. That block was one of the first four blocks I made for my first (and only) quilting class in 2010, and I had forgotten all about it till I saw yours. It’s amazing how different they can look with various fabrics.
I’m working on RSC blocks today and praying for rain!

I hopped over and caught yesterday’s post as well. Yes, you’ve been getting lots of things done! Churn dashes have really been growing on me lately. Fun! Good luck on your to-do’s!

Hi Wendy! I miss your 100 days IG posts – I looked forward to seeing your block each day and how you staged it. I can’t wait to see them all together in a quilt. I just know it’s going to rock. Summer deserves a light list for next week and you are making progress. Yippee! Thanks for linking up this week – next time it’ll be a half-year!! ~smile~ Roseanne

I would love to get Razzleberry quilted, but realistically I don’t see it happening. I’m teaching a domestic machine ruler class next Wednesday so this weekend I’ll be finishing the prep for that. I’ll be happy when that is done (and I’m not working on it up to the last minute!) 🙂 Good luck on meeting your goals for the week!

I’m working on a quilt backing to use up the scraps from the pretty front. Also working on face mask extenders to protect ears from elastic loops. Calm week here.
