To Do Tuesday 65
It’s To Do Tuesday and time for me to share my 65th post of weekly projects. I had to go back to last week’s post and look at what I listed – that should give you a good idea at how well I did – haha! Here’s my list from last week:
- quilt the challenge quilt (maybe) – Nope.
- bindings!! – Yes!
- Mug Rug Blog Hop project – Nope!
- Inner Squirrel project (more about this in another post) – Nope
Inbetween binding quilts last week, I did work on a test block, and just finished that yesterday. That was my main task over the weekend. It was a fun block that I worked on in sections, so I took my time and enjoyed the process.
I did get three quilts bound and finished this week. I’ll be sharing two of them in Wednesday’s post.
The other one I finished was the Marsala Box Quilt, which was such fun to make.
Thanks so much to all of you who left a comment and were entered in the drawing. I promised that I would announce the winner in this post today, so without further ado, the winner of the Masala Box Quilt is . . .
Kay Welch!
Congratulations, Kay! Your name has been forwarded to Preeti and she will be sending you the Masala Box Quilt pattern!
My list for this week is short:
Finish the challenge quilt – all that’s left is the quilting and binding, then writing the post.
I’ll also be participating in a couple of blog hops, so I need to get the projects done for them.
This hop is a new one to me, so it will be fun to see what my inner squirrel, who goes by the name of Winnie, will come up with. I hope to have a little fun with this one!
I’ll also be participating in the No Ring November Mug Rug Blog Hop coming up on November 15th through the 18th, so I’m coming up with mug rug ideas.
That’s it for my upcoming week and this To Do Tuesday 65 post. I’m linking up today with Texas Quilt Gal for the To Do Tuesday linky party. Are you joining us?

Tuesdays come around pretty quickly, don’t they! Completing three bindings is one week is a big accomplishment. I am sure you are going to have lots of fun with Winnie.

I can’t wait to see what Winnie comes up with.

Congrats to Kay! You get so much accomplished Wendy – I finished a Fall UFO this week – quilting and binding on a sunflower block throw I made LAST Fall – but it felt like an achievement! Am almost finished an apron to be used as a Christmas gift for a friend in France – so not too bad I guess. Good luck with the rest of your projects.

HAHA! I always have to go back to last week’s list to see what I “thought” I would get accomplished. Sometimes it’s a complete surprise and I wonder what on earth I was thinking?!! Three quilts bound! WOWEE! That’s a great job done, and I am especially drawn to your version of Marsala Box. I really need to step out of our comfort box and choose different background colors. I just adore the magenta/purple and never would think to choose it. It is really fun and makes the other fabrics pop. I can attest that Addison would say, pretty! On, that button for the Inner Squirrel is so darn cute! It makes you want to open up your door and invite that squirrel in, doesn’t it?!! Can’t wait to see what you and Winnie come up with. ~smile~ Roseanne

I’m so impressed with your finishing of quilts lately, especially Masala Box! I’m definitely going to buy that pattern. Looking forward to seeing what finishes you’re sharing next. An inner squirrel party – that is definitely intriguing. I’ll have to check that out!

Congrats to Kay Welch!
Still lovin’ your colorful Marsala Box Quilt – three quilt bindings in one week? Wow!
Quilting is in my Blood
Like everyone else I’m impressed with three quilt bindings! That Masala quilt is a looker. It’s amazing how fabric choice can make a quilt look so different from someone else’s version. And lastly I’m looking forward to reading your upcoming blog hop posts.
