To Do Tuesday #8
Today for To Do Tuesday #8, I’m linking up with Roseanne over at Home Sewn by Us and the rest of the group as we list our projects each week and encourage one another as we work toward our finishes.
I spent more time out of my quilt room than in it this past week, spending time with friends over coffee and a relaxing meander through IKEA. The weekend was quiet, and I enjoyed some productive sewing time.
Last Week’s List
Improv Triangles – Still a work in progress, but I have more slabs sewn together.
Awesome Ocean – The quilt is finished, quilted and bound. Ready for a trip to the ocean shore!
Pincushion Swap – The pincushion is done and ready to be mailed. I just need to snap a quick photo.
To Do This Week
More Improv Triangles – I’ll keep working on slabs if I can sneak in some sewing time between packing.
If you follow me on Instagram (@piecefulwendy), you’ve seen this view. I need to make a few more of the oranges, reds and purple triangle units (yes, it’s purple but it looks black).
Sewing Project for the Road – I need to decide on some sewing to bring with me. I have a few options, possibly some sashiko or some hand piecing.
Tidy Up my Quilting Room – I like coming home to a clean space, so I’ll sneak in some organization before we leave.
To Do Tuesday #8 is short and sweet, and I won’t be posting next week, but I’ll catch you up after I’m back.
Wendy

These improv triangles are popping all over IG and in blogs. Your triangles are sharp and bright. I am sure they will make a spectacular quilt…if you know when to stop 🙂
