Victoria Miller Quilts
If you read my earlier post this week, you will know that last weekend was our Northfield Quilt Show. Today I want to share with you some of the quilts of our featured quilter, Victoria Miller.
Vici is one of the kindest women I know, always ready with a smile and encouraging words. She doesn’t talk much about her accomplishments, which are many. When you see the quilts below, take note of the descriptions and the awards.
I only took a few photos. She had many quilts there, both hanging and on display on tables. Many of them have been in magazines and calendars.
Each of her quilts are done by hand appliqué and are also hand quilted. They are absolutely stunning.

Vici willingly allowed me to take a picture of her with this beautiful quilt.
Look at the beautiful appliqué and the gorgeous hand stitching.
Another view.
Remembrance by Victoria Miller
The detail in this quilt is amazing. So many pieces, all hand appliquéd!
Look at the beautiful colors in the bird’s tail.
Another view of the detail of her handwork.
1840’s Revisited by Victoria Miller
This quilt is one of my favorites. The colors are so bright and vibrant.
The appliqué is just gorgeous!

There were so many more of Vici’s quilts to see, but I’m going to leave you with this beautiful one.
Patricia’s Baltimore Odyssey by Victoria Miller
I wish I would’ve asked Vici how long this took to make. Look at all that handwork!
Another view of the Vici’s amazing talent.
I hope this little tour has inspired you. I wish I could have shown them all! I’m grateful that I’ve gotten to know Vici and be able to see her work firsthand.
What’s up next for me? Well, I’m playing in my quilt cave this weekend, but I will be out and about at another quilt show too.
Have a good weekend, everyone!

How fortunate you are to know such a master quilter—and that she is an exceptionally nice person only makes her more special. Her quilts are beyond stunning. To aspire to such precision and perfection is probably beyond me—but I can dream. Thank you for sharing.

always so nice to see others doing quilts by hand – hand quilting, hand piecing and hand applique are so fulfilling to do – the art is not dead!!

These are such amazing quilts! Extremely impressive that it’s all handmade too. I don’t know if I’ll ever be that patient but it’s so lovely to see her work and to know she’s such a nice humble person is very cool. Enjoy your time in your quilt cave and your quilt show.
