Wednesday Work in Progress

I had a delightful change to my quilting plan for the last couple of days. The superhero quilt came back from my longarmer, so I quickly put the binding on and added a label. I’m happy to say I handed it off, and it will soon be gifted to its new home.

Here’s a few sneak peeks. I’m hoping to show you the whole quilt after it’s been given to its new owner.

I had fun with these small blocks, fussy cutting some of the fabric.

The yellow is actually a little more intense, but I couldn’t get a good shot of it.

This quilt has a story, as many quilts do. I will share a little of that with you when I reveal the whole quilt.

Today I’m hoping to make more progress on the Christmas ornament woolies. I have two sets of woolie ornaments to do, a woolie tree skirt, a mini woolie quilt and a woolie pincushion. If I can keep interruptions at bay, I should be able to get these done by the mid-July deadline!
