Juggling Act Finale

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of testing a pattern for Twiggy & Opal, and that pattern was Juggling Act. Today I want to show you my Juggling Act finale – my completely finished quilt.

Juggling Act is a fast, fun and versatile quilt pattern. The baby quilt size can easily be pieced in a couple of days, maybe less if you have uninterrupted sewing time. It lends itself well to solids or patterns. I made my baby quilt version using a low volume background (Architextures, Carolyn Friedlander) and prints from my stash. The quilt backing and binding is Grunge in Key Lime. The finished quilt measures 43-1/2 x 49-1/2 inches.

I handed my quilt off to Connie and she suggested this fun design. I love the way it echoes the circle blocks. It just seems to fit, don’t you think?

BigJ and I had fun taking Juggling Act out on a photo shoot. It was a nice day, the sun was shining, and there was a gentle-ish breeze. For this photo, we were trying to get the full phrase “no parking” in the photo, but I think the way it turned out fits quite well, don’t you?

This won’t be my last Juggling Act finale. I have two fat quarter bundles being considered for this pattern.
