Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of testing a pattern for Twiggy & Opal, and that pattern was Juggling Act. Today I want to show you my Juggling Act finale – my completely finished quilt.
Juggling Act is a fast, fun and versatile quilt pattern. The baby quilt size can easily be pieced in a couple of days, maybe less if you have uninterrupted sewing time. It lends itself well to solids or patterns. I made my baby quilt version using a low volume background (Architextures, Carolyn Friedlander) and prints from my stash. The quilt backing and binding is Grunge in Key Lime. The finished quilt measures 43-1/2 x 49-1/2 inches.

I handed my quilt off to Connie and she suggested this fun design. I love the way it echoes the circle blocks. It just seems to fit, don’t you think?

BigJ and I had fun taking Juggling Act out on a photo shoot. It was a nice day, the sun was shining, and there was a gentle-ish breeze. For this photo, we were trying to get the full phrase “no parking” in the photo, but I think the way it turned out fits quite well, don’t you?
This won’t be my last Juggling Act finale. I have two fat quarter bundles being considered for this pattern.
I’m linking up today with:
Wendy

that is a cute pattern!
This is adorable! The quilting is perfect and that picture just made me smile. 😊
Love the O parking — It’s perfect! Nice job balancing all the colors. I think that can be the real juggling act with a quilt like this with large blocks of color. These are such happy colors! Lime green is one of my favorites.

Hi Wendy! What a fun quilt and just the perfect name for it as well. That festive lime green binding really gives the whole piece a pop and pulls those fabrics out just a wee bit more.
