I’m delighted to share my Hello Fall Mini Runner with you today for Day 2 of the Hello Fall Blog Hop, hosted by Carla of Creatin’ in the Sticks. What better way to celebrate the fall season than sharing fun fall projects with one another.

Since fall is my favorite season, I have quite a few items for fall decorating. I decided to make a little mini runner using fall fabrics that I could use interchangeably with different items – a pumpkin, a candle, flowers, etc.

The curved piecing was done using templates from Jen Carlton Bailly. Each circle block is 6″ finished. The mini runner measures 10″ x 22″. The block design, Turbine, is also from Jen. I have been having fun with curved piecing – you’ll be seeing more soon!
The fabrics all came from my stash. I like the soft, subdued coloring of the circle fabrics.

I added some straight line quilting for a quick finish using 50 wt Aurifil thread in orange.

The backing is a tan fabric my stash. I had just enough of the orange plaid fabric for the binding.
Here’s one more view of my Hello Fall Mini Runner, this time with a flower centerpiece.

That is so cute. Love the combination of colors and fabrics.
Nice runner. Love the special strip edition.
Love the soft muted colours that you have used in your pretty runner. Nice work.
Beautiful table runner! I love that the pattern can decorate your table all season. The colors you chose are perfect!
What a lovely centre piece for a table.
Very pretty!
What a wonderful Autumn table runner! Do you trace or cut directly around the edges of the curved templates? I’m a little uncoordinated when it comes to using templates! Have a great day, Mary.
A beautiful combination of colour you can use any time! Love it!
What a lovely runner. The colors choices are perfect. I love decorating for fall too. 🍁
Did you ever think you would say you were having fun with curved piecing? You sure are doing a fabulous job with it!
Sweet little taste of the season, Wendy! Thanks for sharing it with the Hop. Enjoy your lovely new table runner!
Modern! Fresh! Curves!!! Great job, Wendy!!!
How pretty! Reminds me of a harvest moon against a fence. Beautiful colors.
Perfect use of the circle blocks, with your own twist. Is the strip pieced or appliqued? Nice that this doesn’t read fall exclusively and you can use it anytime!
This is such a great modern take on a fall runner. Love it. The straight line quilting is the perfect touch. Thank you for being a part of the Hello Fall Blog Hop. It’s so fun to see new ideas!
That just says fall and pumpkins without a single holiday fabric in it at all! Love it, Wendy! I’m so impressed with your curved piecing – it’s really looking good. Fun finish!
This is very pretty! I love soft oranges and this is a good mix.
Hi Wendy! What a fabulous color combination and a runner that will look sweet wherever it lands. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the circles. It’s so interesting how the straight lines interrupting the circles really draw your eyes right to them. Great job! ~smile~ Roseanne
Fall fabulous! I like the colors and the modern feel of this pattern. It is a versatile piece! Nice job!
I love your orange table runner. Very beautiful for the Fall and can be used throughout the house.
Such a lovely runner. It is a beautiful design with circles and plusses and the fabrics are a perfect match. I have Jen Carlton Bailey circles templates as well. I just haven’t taken them out of the box to use them 🙂
Your runner is gorgeous in those fabrics…love it! The design is amazing, too. Thank you for sharing, Wendy!
Great little runner. I am impressed with the thought that you put into making this runner fit with a variety of table decorations. Thanks for sharing.
This is a beautiful table runner….a little bit modern and a lot fall. It looks great with those little strips of dark background fabric sewn in. The circles give it such pizzazz and the binding was the perfect selection. Love the backing as well.
I love the modern look of your runner. Perfect in fall colors. I also love your pumpkin. Is it carved or is it vinyl, I am working on the concept that it is a real pumpkin.
Beautiful table runner. Love the colors! Thanks so much for sharing!

I thought those blocks looked familiar. I took Jen’s curves class at QuiltCon. We didn’t make that block but she showed us the possibilities. Beautiful runner for fall!
Fantastic runner Wendy, and so you! I, too, love the subdued oranges (with turquoises) I’m seeing over the past year, and now more that it’s autumn again.
