To Do Tuesday 29

To Do Tuesday 29 should have been written a week ago, but last week I was busy working on a couple of deadline projects and hadn’t done much else. I did get a few things notched off my to do list, though.

  • Quilt the 100 Day Project quilt – Done
  • Bind Magnolia Mystery Quilt
  • August Churn Dash Blocks – Done
  • Deli Geese Blocks

The 100 Day Project Quilt is done and you can read about it in this post

100 Day Challenge Finish - My mini plus block quilt is done - piecefulthoughts.com

I enjoyed this project so much that I find myself wondering if I should start another. We’ll see on that. For now, I have other things keeping me busy.

I finished my August churn dash blocks, and kept reminding myself to take photos. And then promptly forgot. So you’ll have to take my word for it until I get photos done and in another post!

I have both of my secret sewing projects done, and I can’t wait to show them to you in a future post! To reward myself, I played a bit, as you may recall from Monday’s post

This week, I’ll be tackling those two items I didn’t get done on the list above, along with a few others:

  • Bind the Magnolia Mystery Quilt – maybe I can finish this by Friday?
  • August Deli Geese blocks
  • Plan/design upcoming challenge quilt for The Endeavourers
  • Prepare project for October blog hop

That should keep me busy! I’m linking up with Home Sewn by Us – Roseanne does a great job of keeping us moving along with our projects. Thanks so much, Roseanne, for hosting this linky party!

How’s your week been? Are you keeping up on your projects?

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I sure do appreciate it!

Wendy

  1. The 100 day quilt is just so cute and it was fun watching it go together. I know something like that would be a perfect project for me to start this fall but I think the Farmer’s Wife quilt has to be finished first. Anxious to see your surprise projects!

I’m glad you showed the plus sign quilt again. I love it! It does sound like you accomplished a lot and that there is no time to rest on your laurels! Look forward to seeing the Magnolia Mystery Quilt.

  3. Love seeing your 100 Day pluses again! That really was a neat project and finish! Good for you for getting your secret sewing taken care of without getting distracted. I’ll look forward to seeing what you’ve been working on – and the Magnolia Mystery finish, too!

  4. Loads of pretty goodness in this post, Wendy. Yay for a 100-day project finish. It sure turned out great, didn’t it?! Another 100-day journey would just about take you to the end of the year – that might be a fitting way to end this hot mess of a year. Just a thought. Thanks for linking up today! ~smile~ Roseanne

  5. Your finished plus quilt looks so fabulous. I really like how you challenged yourself to think more positively in this rather difficult year. And I enjoyed another peek at your improv project. Here’s to another productive week, Mary.

  6. Secret projects sound exciting! What’s that second improv project that you showed? It looks really interesting; love the autumnal color mix.
