I have two more SAHRR quilts to show you today. We are close to finishing the 2026 Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) quilts, so here’s a little more inspiration for you! Eva and Janice have their latest progress to show you today.
When Eva saw that this week’s prompt was “two colors”, she knew exactly what she wanted to do. Because this quilt will go to a girl, she wanted to add in a little pink to balance the turquoise. She chose the colors of pink and gray. Last year, she used a border that she wanted to use for this quilt, here’s a photo as a reminder.
While that border had the little squares all in a row with little movement, Eva got creative and added movement to the border this year.
She says her stash is getting low, especially on the green inner borders and the elephant fabric as well. So she’s getting more and more creative in her fabric use. She added the little friendship stars in the corners for a little fun.
Eva also wants to thank all of you who have left comments. She draws much encouragement from your kind words!
New this week is Janice, who has quietly been sewing along with us. She reached out to ask if I would include a photo of her quilt so you could see it. She is not on any social media, so I was happy to share her work. She is creating a beautiful quilt!
I love the cheerful yellow and turquoise combination, and of course, I’m drawn to those curves! Nice work, Janice!

Two very pretty quilts! I love Eva’s added friendship stars and the little “movement” squares, and I really love the pink! Janice has made a beautiful quilt. I love what the curves do to the design, and that center star is so pretty.
Eva, I love your border with the squares…just perfect in pink! I too am running out of fabric, just had enough of the feature fabric to get some on the last border and a little in the last block.
Janice your quilt is gorgeous. I think the rainbows are my favorite round so far on your quilt.
