A quick post to show you Eva’s SAHRR Border 4 for the Stay at Home Round Robin sew along. Eva has been working quickly this week to come up with her curved border. She says she loved the prompt for doing curves, and that they are not difficult to do if you are not running out of fabric like her. Haha. She’s right, of course. Curves aren’t so bad. Let’s take a peek at what Eva came up with for her border.
She said it was a little tricky to figure out the corner pieces, but felt that the turquoise with the “eye” fabric felt good, and I agree. Since this quilt is for a girl, Eva is using soft, feminine colors in her quilt. Eva also said that when she works improv for the SAHRR quilts, she never quite knows how they will turn out, but she is very happy with this quilt this year.
It’s been so much fun to see all the curves going on in all the quilts! Eva’s SAHRR Border 4 is another great example of curved borders as well as digging into her stash to find fabrics that work.
